My last two WIW posts have been with the same pair of mustard Teddie pants from J. Crew, so I thought i'd post something completely different!
I have been wanting a couple of red and white plaid items, as I saw a fun trend in my Pintrest browsing for S/S 2016. this top is one of the items I found. I like the print because it incorporates pink, blue and burgundy with the red, so it works better in my closet. I've tied it at the waist so I can avoid tucking, as I feel better with my top a bit over the waistband. These very deep pleats make my tummy feel a bit highlighted, which i don't love.
I'm not feeling very slim in this outfit, but I do feel stylish. Thoughts? Is the top too slouchy? Would it look better tucked in with a wide belt?
