I know this is a bad picture, but I wanted to share what I wore to my niece's first communion party. I was so excited that I managed to find these vibrant cobalt blue "party shoes" just in time for the party. The higher heel definitely makes them "sitting shoes" for me, but they are surprisingly comfortable nevertheless.
I wore: black pencil skirt (yay for the longer length), blue scarf print blouse, off-white self-patterned jacket and the blue pumps.
My niece looked beautiful in her white dress with mid-green skinny belt, light green long-sleeved cardigan, white ballet flats with silver detailing and white ribbon in her hair. She just turned seven and is quite the fashionista already. We are going dress shopping next week because she "wants to wear a dress every day this Summer".
