WIW - new wool pullover

I finally got the wool pullover I had ordered at the Boden mid season sale yesterday and I just had to wear it today. It's an awesome color, has dropped shoulder seams and a high low hem. Rather cropped and boxy, but perfect for skirts. It runs very big though, I'm glad I read the reviews - this is two sizes smaller than what I'd normally wear!

You also get to see my lovely pyramid hair, here's what it looks like when it's blow-dried. I overslept this morning and it's definitely too cold to leave with wet hair...

And I'm not sure if you can see it, but my hose is ivy green.

I think you nailed the fit perfectly, and the color is great. I like how you were intentional with it for the skirts. That is something I'm trying to do more of. Yes, it'd be great if all my tops went with everything, but proportion-wise, that's not going to happen, and when I try too hard to mix & match everthing, I get a lot of so-so outfits, when I'd rather have fewer, better combinations. So I think it's really good to pair the right tops & bottoms for the fabbest proportions.

ETA: And I totally commiserate about the hair! That's exactly what mine does if I blow it dry and don't flatiron it.

Thanks Unfrumped! Yes, the fact that skirts and pants might need different top lengths when untucked was one of the first really important things I learned on YLF. I still have some that do double duty, but I now have a better eye for the cases when it just doesn't work.

Thanks Parsley! I think it's one of my most flattering colors. ETA I don't have a flat iron, so I had to spend the day looking like this.

Thanks Alasse! I bought it on a holiday over ten years ago. I remember that I wanted it just because I loved the color of the stone and the sales lady was a believer of the healing magic of the stones (or something like that) and didn't want to sell it to me because she said it would act as a stimulant and I would be too young to wear it.
