WIW - New Leather Jacke

I have been feeling a bit under the weather so today is the first day I have been in anything other than yoga pants for a few days.

Jacket: Danier
Scarf: Danier (a few years old)
Dress: Louben (part of a suit)
Boots: Boutique9

I actually prefer the look partially zipped but wore it open most of the day. I know the tassles are out but I like them and they are a shimmery slightly darker version of the jacket color. I also considered wearing my cherry red patent boots but went with the grey.

I am still thinking about going back for either the green or red leather jackets.

Suggestions for improvement more than welcome.

This looks beautiful and you look beautiful in it! I don't think tassels (the fringe on the scarf, right?) are out. I see them on lots of scarves. For a while, I didn't see them on as many because there were lots of newbie knitters out there who were making lots of scarves and they didn't know how to make fringe yet. (Or at least that's my observation as a knitter.) The scarves that I saw in the stores still had fringe on them as often as not. And I've seen lots of tassels coming in as a design feature on pursues. So wear your tassels with pride! You look fab!

Love the jacket! It's hard to tell from the pic is it brown, or a eggplant shade? Either way it's great. You dressed it up very well!

Very nice. I love the verging on berry purple shade of the jacket and it looks very nice with the light colored boots. I'm always concerned about wearing dark tall boots + dark leather jacket.

I really like #1 with the fringe showing! I don't think tassels are out, just that many here have a preference against them in their scarves. I personally quite like them and will continue to happily wear them :} This is a beautiful and rich color combo!

Thank you all for the kind words. I was debating which jacket to get for at least an hour and tried the two main contenders on at least 4 times each. I am glad I ended up with this one. I do like the fit and the color.
