Well, a little success in finding a bit of burgundy I like! This “baby tee” from Frame is a winner. It’s slightly cropped, which is excellent for my short torso. Gently fitted but I sized up for even more ease. This is good for our warm fall when I’m over light colors and want to feel autumnal while staying cool, plus it layers well.
I took another tack on the black sneaker search and ended up with the Rivalry from Adidas. They have a lovely amount of cushioning around the ankle and were comfortable straight out of the box. I like the white stitching as it’s a little different from most of the sneakers I see out there. A little skater-ish but I don’t mind that.
Worn with my new COH wide leg jeans, back from the tailor. They were long, even on me, so about an inch was hemmed. Anyone interested in these jeans, I found they are a little generous in size. I’m wearing a 29 here and maybe could have gone down to a 28, but I didn’t want the waist to be too constricting. Hubs loves these!
Worn with my very old lightweight cropped printed bomber jacket. I love this jacket but the very short length has mostly limited it to being worn with dresses and my old jumpsuit. But with a cropped top and high waisted pants, it works equally well.
I added a pic of my new turtle earrings purchased in Jackson, Wyoming on the trip I just took with my sister and niece to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Funny story is that these earrings and some other lightweight purchase nearly escaped, as the bag they were in blew out of the back of our vehicle in a gust of wind and went flying down a street in West Yellowstone! Picture my niece and I racing down the road to try to catch my purchases (some earrings and t-shirts for gifts) before cars ran over them. Well, the earrings actually were run over! They were packaged up in a nice box with padding that I nearly refused when the sales assistant was ringing me up. It turns out the packaging saved them from being destroyed. Pic 6 is what the box looks like now!
