Hi everyone! Just wanted to quickly jump in on Mary Beth's fun challenge! I've been busy adjusting to my additional work hours as well as dance competition season (DD) and university application and selection (DS) and DH travel. My simple, classic casual wardrobe has been serving me well and the updates I made to catch up to the post-pandemic fashion moment have made me feel much better about my style.
One perk of the new job is that I do have to go into office at times, which is easy and fun to dress for - business casual and pretty relaxed.
Here is a new favourite, per the challenge, that I've styled two ways - for casual Mom duties and business-casual summer office duties. The shirt is my annual "pink purchase" - my personal spring style tradition!
I did have a third version of the shirt, layered over a white tank and jean shorts, and worn with my pink high top Converse - but I somehow managed to delete the photo.
The trousers and ballet flats are also new. The trousers are cheap and cheerful and super-comfy. They are QUITE high waisted, more than is quite necessary on me but I can make them work nicely and they had enough other perks (not least the price as compared to, say, Artizia's version) that I am glad I bought them as a breezy summer work option (they also are nice with a tee and sneakers). And the ballet flat is SUPER comfy. Both on sale too; yay!
