I decided to keep the Anthro printed dress. My husband paused for half a beat when I showed it to him, but then said he really liked it. He admitted that it’s more pattern than he’s used to seeing on me, but he quickly encouraged me to keep it.
My niece and her husband took us out for a wonderful dinner in Washington last night, so I debuted the dress. I didn’t get a photo before putting on my jacket. But I liked it with the short suede moto and scarf, plus black tights and booties. I carried the Stella McCartney bag clutch style.
I definitely feel the need to have some coverage on the legs with such high side slits in the skirt portion, but the slits also serve to create a nice swish in the skirt. I think the colors show up better in the skirt portion as well.
