WIW - new cardigan again

Wearing the new cardigan again. This feels very comfortable, but maybe a bit too much like my 'old' style. Do you know what I mean?

I'm not sure polka dots are my thing, not anymore. That said, the shirt is still the perfect length to wear untucked over the skirt! I don't have my options if I don't want to tuck.

That cardi is stunning on you! What a great wardrobe addition.

I love this whole outfit (the colours & shapes, the way the hosiery echoes the shirt, etc.), which I feel a bit abashed saying since you're not feeling it so much. I've been gone for a month, so I haven't caught up on things yet, but it does look like what I'd consider 'classic Astrid.' Hmmm.

Thanks! I'm glad to see you're back. I do like this outfit, but I don't think I will buy a replacement for the shirt when it's time to purge it. And it does looks very typical, I agree.

I'm new here so I don't really know your style, but wow... this outfit is so typical of my own style. Polka dots, textured tights, polka dots, full skirt and cardigan. Yup,. Are you sure you didn't pull this outfit out of my closet?

Looks great Astrid - I have a soft spot for polka dots so it's great to me. I've recently rediscovered a couple of cardigans too - and I think I'm liking them again, at least some of them. This one is right on the mark!

Thanks Texstyle! I felt sick of my cardigans last year, but I like this new one a lot. I think it's because it's merino wool, it has some texture and just a more luxe feel than all my old cotton cardigans.

I think you look great! The dotty top is especially fun with the dotty-ish tights. The color of that cardigan looks really fab with your hair (and it also look super soft).

I think it's more the scale of the polka dots. But I really also don't see you in a bolder, bigger, more graphic polka dot either.
You do full skirts so well.

This is a lovely oufit for lovely you! I havn't followed YLF and your style development for months now, but I really like this on you. The tights and dots echo each other and the blue cardi is beautiful on you. The proportions are great and your smile is greater Do you long for more springy colours? Is the "old style" a question of seasonal change or do you miss some style elements that you now crave?

Thanks Harmonica! I feel like I want to wear less pattern lately, more clean lines and less bells and whistles. Not as much retro/boho either. Although there's probably not a big observable difference between what I want to wear now and what I dubbed 'old style'. I still want to lighten up my wardrobe overall and I think the blue cardigan does a good job in this case to give the outfit more of a spring feel.

Astrid, If the color of the sweater is something you liked to brighten up and give a Spring feel, it certainly does that... I think that polk a dots of course add to that Spring vibe... Love this.
