WIW - Neutrals, Redux

Today I wore pretty much the same colours as Monday, haha, black, cream and grey. I can't help it, I love cream and grey together

Black Open Cardigan - Reitmans
Cream Chevron Lace Shell - Banana Republic
Grey Narrow Pants - Rickis
Silver Flats - Naturalizer

I thought about adding a necklace, but the only ones I thought were long enough were long and beaded, and I thought that would be too much against the textured top... I did wear a cream, grey and black floral print scarf for part of the day.

I wonder what it would look like with a belt for added definition and maybe even a pop of color?

This is a great tonal look, really makes your lovely hair color stand out! I wonder if those pants need to be shortened a little bit though? They seem to be collecting at your knees I might also try a camisole under the top to prevent the pants grinning, though it could be from the flash. If you did feel like adding a bit of color on another day, I think colorful shoes would be really fun here!

I'll bet the scarf looked very pretty with your outfit. I also like the idea of colorful shoes, or shoes with a pattern, maybe leopard print?

TraceyLiz - good idea, more colour is definitely one of my style goals
Aida - Thank you! And you may be right about the pants length, though I will wait and see how they look after a wash...
JR - Almost a bookend, the shoes are sort of a warm silver colour. Silver with a hint of bronze, maybe? I have brown hair, but it flashes Auburn depending on the light.
Karie - You know, I have a bit of a poison eye for Leopard print, but I keep seeing it look totally fab and may yet crack. I may need a pair of more exciting flats regardless, though
