Inspired by some recent discussions here, I perused The Real Real for some end of season summer top bargains. After my recent closet edit and reorg, I noticed that non-tee summer tops were a category that could use a piece or two.
I ordered a couple from TRR, taking advantage of a really good sale.
The other top, a dragonfly print from Vionnet, was too small, but this Mary Katrantzou fits well! I loved these photographic prints when they came out and still do, so to me they are beyond trend.
I decided to debut the top today, with a jacket because it was a little cool for sleeveless today. I am thinking of getting the top shortened a little because the length is that awkward crotch length that is not my favorite. It’s also a little on the sheer side, but I think the print masks that nicely! I’m not usually a fan of buttoning tops all the way up, but I actually don’t mind this top buttoned (pic 4).
Worn with AG Harper straight jeans and olive utility jacket plus Dolce Vita booties.
