Not a terribly exciting outfit, exactly, but I've been wearing my skinnies so much lately, I decided to break out the old bootcut jeans today and preserve the moment in pictures (sorry, have to quote "Raising Arizona" once in a while!).

A chilly day so I liked the idea of the cozy convertible sweater (the cowl neck is detachable). I've been anxious for it to get chilly enough to break out the Jenny Han green wool moto, so I had to wear that today. I added some knitted fingerless gloves I received as a present a few years ago. The boots are barely visible, but they're tall J Shoes grey boots I've had for a couple of years that have also been languishing lately and deserved a day out. I had to include a pic of the best part of the boot -- the heel detail.

I realized after I took the full-length shot that the little shiny details I included are not visible at all, so I included those in separate pics. Since the outfit was so tonal and lacked any patterns, I decided to wear silver dangly earrings, my silver and stone ring I got in Reykjavik, and carry my stingray grey/silver purse.

Pics taken at the end of the day, so I'm looking a little tired and my lipstick is long gone. Messy no-blowdry windblown hair too.
