WIW - More new items - wrap dress and cardigan

#1 - I wore this on Sunday. The cardigan is a new thrift find. I'm finding the color a little hard to figure out what it goes with. This outfit looked pretty good to me with the neutrals (although it might have looked better without the necklace). I'm blaming the camera angle for making me look short but it could be the horizontal lines of the outfit too

#2 - New black dress. It's a wrap dress which normally don't work on me. The only reason this looks okay is my nursing bust (the milk fairy was very generous). I wore a scarf because I was worried how the dress would behave (would it shift or loosen?) and wanted some extra coverage.

I discovered when I was wearing maternity clothes that I really liked, and got a lot of use out of, a simple black dress so I've been on the hunt for something similar. This isn't perfect since it's jersey knit and won't last, but since my body shape with the generous bust won't last either, I figure it's good for now.

I love both of these. You look amazing in that black dress and the scarf is the perfect touch, it adds some brightness near your face. I am in awe of your postpartum figure. I can relate to the generous bust disappearing after the milk machine is done, for me that was 24 years ago though.

I love the dress on you! It's hard to see the wrap with the scarf, but from what I can see, the silhouette looks great. #1 looks super comfy and put together for a Sunday. Where's the kitty? He's usually sitting on the washer.

Wow, that dress is so flattering! You made me laugh re: the milk fairy. Good plan to just wear it to death while you're nursing.

I love the colour of your cardigan so much! Have you tried it with a soft white or cream or blush? I bet that'd be pretty.

The dress looks great on you now, so definitely enjoy it while you can! I also really like the bit of neon in the scarf, and #1 is such a cute casual outfit.

You're doing an amazing job of dressing post-partum! I think the camera angle is making your legs recede a bit, but I love the slouchy skinnies with the new cardi --- good silhouette for a winter day. The wrap dress is a great choice! You can layer it underneath a jacket or cardi, too, and wear it with pumps for spring.

You look great! I agree with Tina, the bright scarf is a great touch to add to this dress. I also really like the color of the cardigan - definitely goes well with grey and balck, I also like the idea of white or off-white.

Yes -- grey, black and white (white jeans would be fabulous) all go beautifully with that sort of steel blue of your cardigan. Nice find!

Carter - the Sunday picture was taken later in the day than normal and I think kitty was sleeping in a sunbeam by that time. I'm not sure where she was for the black dress picture.

Is the new cardi a teal? It's hard to tell on my screen. What about burgundy or plum with it if you have pants in either of those colors. Heck, I'd wear it with blue denim too. Agree the black dress and scarf are very striking on you!
