I've gone through my closet and the things that fit and I like I am styling to evaluate the keepers. I am also trying to get a vibe for what my style actually is. Polished casual is what I've come up with so far, with maybe a skew to boho?
#1 - New top J.Jill cardigan and sleeveless button/tie top with very old skirt (Macy's Worthington) that I've always loved but never seemed to be able to style. It has an angled hem that's not really showing well in pic. Worn with Clarks perforated peep toe booties (LOVE) but as taking pic I thought looked a little bottom heavy and when I got home tried with my grey wedges and will wear them next time. The skirt has periwinkle/grey/ink pattern.
#2 - New J.Jill sweater over old tank, with old skirt (Chicos outlet) and new shoes. I always fell this skirt too body con but styled like this I thought it looked ok. Please tell me if these shoes are out of place here. They are so comfy and I thought the blue top balanced them?
#3 - New J.Jill sleeveless again, in pattern, with old Chicos topper, old bootcut jeans and Clarks wedges for a Friday. These shoes are going strong after two years.
These J.Jill pieces are so light and allow me to layer but still have coverage if I have to remove the topper.
Thanks for looking! Input appreciated! And yay for being able to start to add finds to WIW posts! : )
