Plaid and wool again, pretty much the only thing I'm wearing right now. I actually first put on my trusty black skirt this morning, but it annoyed me so much shifting around that I changed into the plaid skirt. Seems like my old wardrobe workhorse doesn't work anymore. Anyway, I really like this outfit. I can't get enough of that color!

Oh and next Saturday is my appointment with the hair stylist! I'm still not sure what to do. I'm always going back and forth...

I love the outfit! Your proportions with the pullover, skirt, tights, and boots are just right (something I struggle with, so I especially admire it on others). Because you've put a lot of thought in to the haircut, when you get to the hair stylist, you may find the final choice becomes clear. Can't wait to see the results!

Put together and very Astrid :). I am no good at curly/wavy hair ... So would leave that to the experts ... Whatever you choose I am sure you would look lovely though :). Good luck!

firstly, i am mad about plaid on you. secondly, have you thought about altering the black skirt to fit? is it worth it?

Thanks Ruth. I don't think it is possible to alter it easily. It has a side zip, side pockets, evenly spaced pleats and an elaborate waistband.

What a classic, lovely look. A touch Scottish with the plaid and the green. An interesting variation from the post the other day and quite frankly, this looks way better on you. The soft green suits your colouring very much. Well done.

Lovely sweater! I'm a big fan of deep plaids in general. They add interest without drawing too much attention to themselves.

I put off wearing wool as long as possible, but that day is here for me too, I'm afraid. We have a "Polar Vortex" in the US at the moment. Apparently, a Typhoon in the Pacific rammed our jet stream, causing it to dip south --- way south. Sigh.

Thanks Beth Ann! Since I discovered wool I love wearing it, so I'm always happy get those pieces out. We've been having fairly warm weather so far, but I'm bundling up all the same. I run cold and I like to be cozy.
