I haven't posted a WIW in a while, so I thought I'd snap a photo today.
Debuting the second pair of my slouchy pants -- these navy ones are by Vince, and on sale they ended up being a pretty good deal for silk. I sized up because I was worried my regular size might be a touch slim in the low hip for the kind of ease this silhouette should have. These feel like they're going to fall off, even though the drawstring is securely cinched! I think it's just because they feel so different from anything I'm used to wearing.
Added a slouchy mint tee (Anthro), the Jeffrey Campbell shoes, the silver necklace for a bit of bookending, and my new mint and rose gold cuff, but I still craved a bit more structure. (I worry about looking like I'm in my pajamas in pants like this.) So I tried the mint jacket and liked the result.
Carrying my snake print tote today, which I don't think you all have seen before. I am finding that it goes with an amazingly huge number of my outfits.
Looking at the pics, I swear I have the shortest torso in the world! I'm wearing the pants low, believe it or not. I will have to try loosening the semi-tuck a bit to lengthen my torso. This is the downside of being a long-legged but not particularly tall person.
