WIW - maroon and blush, denim tunic, dress, new boho top

Here's a somewhat random collection of outfits that were worn over the last couple weeks. I'm a little behind on posting.

#1 - Maroon and blush. I love this color combination. I'm not sure why since I rarely wear two colors in one outfit and almost always need a neutral to balance out any color I wear.

#2 - New denim tunic with black polka dot skinny pants (the dots are too small to show up in the photo).

#3 - Dark grey dress with maroon patterned scarf. This scarf is more voluminous than I'm used to. I've worn it before and the forum suggested trying it infinity style. I like the way it looked in this outfit.

34 - New boho patterned top with old green cardi.

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome.

I think the maroon and blush love you back Sara, what a lovely look. Have you ever had your colours done - professionally or DIY? I can't quite pick what palette you would be (except I suspect not a spring?) Anyway you seem to choose lovely colours that suit you anyway.

I also like 3 a lot, that shape dress and scarf very much suit you.

Your cat playing peek a boo in shot 2 made me giggle.

The boho top, cardi, and necklace all go together really well, I like it on you. Blush and burgundy is such a beautiful combination and it looks great on you.

Very nice! I like no 3 the best. Love the infinity scarf and you have the right hair for it (I like the look but my hair always messes things up). Blush and burgundy is a great combination. I think Angie did a post on it. I would try a lighter coloured shoe with the blush pants (but the necklace ties in well with the shoes that you are wearing).

I think you look great in the blush/maroon outfit too, but agree with Brooklyn that it needs a different shoe. I also really like you in the dress/scarf in #3.

I love 3 & 4! The scarf/dress combo is awesome, and the colours in 4 are stunning. #2 is cute! Love the necklace. I'm a big fan of statement necklaces! I really like the blush/maroon combo in #1, but wonder if the sweater is too heavy-looking for the pants? Maybe something with a v-neck or more scooped? Your kitty is cute, too! Oh, and I love your hair! I have hair envy!

You all are right about the shoes in #1. I stared at my shoe collection for awhile this morning trying to figure out which shoes to wear with this combo. I don't have many light colored winter shoes. I wanted something with a pointier toe too. I have a taupe pair that might have looked better. Oh well, maybe next time.

Domino is a girl. She has symmetrical spots on her sides and that's how she got her name.

1. To me blush is a neutral, although at one time burgundy was a neutral too.
4. My favorite of the group because those blue-green colors give you a glow. I love those flats too. What are they?

Oh, so sorry I have been calling her he.. Will not happen again. Hope I have not caused her any permanent self image damage. Tell her I do think she is a beautiful girl. Interesting how she got her name.

I especially like nr. 3 and 4, but picture nr. 2 is fantastic with kitty peeking out behind you! By the way, I always wanted to ask you: is that Domino's "apartment", that is, the place where he usually lives, or does he follow you when you take pictures?

I've just recently been warming up to the idea of blush, and I'm finally coming around to appreciate the blush-burgundy combo. Ensemble #1 is fab (and inspiring)! I also really like that grey dress -- looks easy to wear and super versatile.

Sally - I've never had my colors done and haven't had much luck with the online quizzes I've tried. My hair is naturally a fairly dark ashy brown with absolutely no red. My eyes are green, sometimes they look turquoise. My skin is fair. I look terrible in mustard and beige. Right now I blond highlights which changes the analysis.

Sisi- I guess you could call that room her "apartment" since her food and litter box are in there. She follows me in to get food which I never give her since she's already been fed by then. She always thinks she's starving and would turn into a butterball if I fed her as much as she seems to think she needs. However she's also a friendly cat that wants to be wherever the people are.
