I love #1 too-wow KEEP! Agreeing with the others that the boots need narrower pants though.
I'm really thinking the key to these long blazers is no buttons!
Thumbs up from me, Shevia! The call of balancing volume with slimness to create a more conventionally flattering silhouette is strong, but I'm going to resist it here.
This suit is beyond gorgeous. I am totally impressed. You look sensational and I like the styling a lot, in particular in the first picture.
I would wear this suit in a heartbeat.
Please, KEEP it!
So gorgeous. Oh my, that jacket is perfect on you in particular! I think you would wear that in any number of ways and can't wait to see what you do with it!
Rachy Thank you. I think it reveals something basic yet profound about me that when you and others say I look tall I assume I did something wonky to the camera angle to create that illusion. suntiger - interesting point about the buttons! April I do know what you mean! I fight for my right to unflatter myself! Katerina I am keeping, but it will have to wait a while to be worn again, it is high summer around here now. Laurie Thank you! smittie - I think there is fabric I could let out, I have to check. Interesting point about the fabric itself, I have to check that more carefully also! torontogirl - Thank you! It is officially staying in my closet! Angie oh my goodness! Really? Good luck with the move and thank you!
You look amazing in this suit. It is so flattering, I think you will need to keep it for a long time. Maybe just pass it on in your will.
To me it has a le smoking vibe. So among other stylings (it seems really versatile), I would dress it up for the holidays or a gala, with a pair of strappy heeled sandals, a luxe silk cami or tuxedo blouse, and glam earrings and clutch.
Holy cow! You look so tall and slim!!! Very modelesque! I can see the jacket belted and I love the idea of a lace cami with it too. The pants seem a little short to me, too. I wonder if you prefer not to narrow the pants if you might shorten them and make them into wide leg crops. The proportions might be fun. Or perhaps add lace to the bottom of the pants and keep for dressy?
Thank you all for your thoughtful, kind and interesting thoughts! Firecracker I love your vision, although the closest thing I have to galas are weddings! nancylee Thank you! What a great compliment, I'm very flattered. Dana Ah, that is an interesting idea - I would probably get more use out of the pants shorter than longer! kkards Great ideas! I need to make a list of the terrific suggestions on this thread.
I absolutely love this. The green top is perfect with it. I prefer it without the necklace, to keep it clean and minimalist (a silver necklace would be very 90s minimalist). The cowboy boots are a fantastic look even though it’s an unintuitive choice.
I'm late to the show but for such a beautiful outfit it's never late. You look terrific, your style is completely individual. I especially like the no 1.
