WIW - Lime green, olive, graphic tee

Catching up with a few more summer outfits.

#1 - Dress I thrifted a couple years ago. I think it's a bit dated but it fits well and I like the colors so I keep pulling it out of the donate pile.

#2 - New olive striped top and white crops. I have both white and olive shoes but decided the outfit need a bit more color variety so went with the brown sandals and bracelet.

#3 - Tee and jeans for a super casual day at work. It was the Friday after the holiday and the office was deserted. The shirt says "Life is short, Take the Trip, Buy the Shoes, Eat the Cake. My 12- and 10-year old sons were baffled by the Buy the Shoes line. Them: Why would anyone need more than than 3 or 4 pairs of shoes? Me: Umm - have you two ever looked in my closet?

Nice looks! I'm no help with #1, as I think it looks great. I'll leave it to the more up-to-the-minute fashionistas to tell you if it's dated. I also love olive (it matches my eyes), and often have good luck pairing with red. Do you have red sandals? LOL at your sons' response to the line about the shoes!

I think your sleek hair and refined shoes do a great job of modernizing the dress in #1. Also, the necklace adds a finishing touch.

What Tina said. You always look wonderful. Your boys will hold you to that quote to get you to buy them the uber expensive athletic shoes they want in a few years.

I like the colors in the dress, too! I think it looks fine Loving the brown accents in #2 for a little color depth. Great tee, though I'd change "cake" to "pie" ^^

Beautiful outfits, I like the 60's retro print of your dress and don't think it looks dated. I especially love how your sandals in #2 echo the cross pattern of your t-shirt. I very good mantra. My 9 year old son recently asked me how many shoes I owned, as I said, I don't outgrow my shoes every 6 months, so they tend to build up.
