WIW - layers and gray - ETA a different blouse

I had this outfit idea as a somewhat unconventional pairing of a-line skirt and longer, loose shirt with a long waterfall cardigan. In your opinion is it flattering "enough"? I'm really shortening my (already relatively short) legline here. I do like the way the cardigan hem looks with the skirt hem, though.

Edited to add - I tried it with a different white blouse (white and cream blouses are one of my essentials!), and decided that it was best tucked. I am really wanting to emphasize a soft layering effect with this outfit. Did I achieve it? Do I need more layers?

I like it, Jenava. I think it works because of the tonal colour palette. The one thing that is throwing me off a bit is the straight hem on the shirt: I'd be curious to see the same look with a white shirt or blouse with a rounded hem.

Also: I didn't get a chance to comment on your other thread, but I am loving your new short 'do.

Agreeing that tucked is better because out, it interfered with flow between the cardigan and the skirt. It's a bold look in a soft way and I think you really pull it off.
Jenava, you look like a different person, no more or less lovely physically, but completely different vibe. I love it.
