The temps are a little chilly today which gave me a chance to try a layering idea I'd had for a while. I sometimes see tops with built in layers (ie the shirt and knit top are sewn together).

I like the look and thought why not try this idea with a cropped cardigan over a button-up shirt? Since the cardigan is cropped, you see a fair amount of the shirt peeking through. I paired the layered tops with dark wash bootcut jeans and square toe boots to finish the outfit.
