I'm still trialing whether my rubric which I came up with in the summer still works in Winter. This is what I wore Thursday 7 June.
- Contrast -Dark Purple Cardigan Coat (Sable & Minx) , Grey/Black trousers, grey suede shoes (Mi Piaci)
- Romantic - Lavendar collarless shirt /lace panel insert (Sussan), silver shawl
- Pretty/Sparkly- lavender & metal chain necklace & amethyst chandelier ear-rings

I think it still works for me.

Wow, do you wear those colours well! And such a great combination with the charcoal pants' slight silvery sheen, which is picked up by the jewellery. Very sophisticated version of boho chic!

I feel cosy and warm just looking at pic#2.

Hi Lyn - I ended up spending most of the morning (once I got to work) wearing just the shirt (as per #4) and as it cooled down slowly adding back the layers.

The rubric definitely works for you! I love the grey and lavender combination--looks great on you! Looks like you had lots of layering options too which is nice!

The lavender is such a pretty colour on you. You are really great at choosing the colours that flatter you most.

Goldenpig, Helen and Suz - thanks. I just voted for Team Colour on Angie's Blog Post but I generally reserve the colour for the top half to balance out my bountiful pear shape.
