Hi all, a quick photo dump of recent work outfits - I'm having fun with this new dress code, and playing around with different silhouettes to see what I like lately!

1/2 - New collared sweater with navy pants. The fit was slightly too loose and I decided to try to strategically shrink it a touch. Will report back!
3 - To the performing arts season launch. Dress code was creative semi-formal, which basically meant everything from dressy jeans outfit to full length dresses. I landed in the middle I'd say, which is where I like to be I bought this outfit for my 20th wedding anniversary and have worn it for a few occasions since; I really like it.
4 - oversized shirt with cropped black pants (new pants)
5/6 - burgundy sweater (new fave) with off-white jeans - I really liked this one (mirror shot has more accurate body proportions, as I am trying to work out silhouettes on my rectangular body)
7 - rose brown and black
8/11 - a dash of leopard inspired by Angie's post yesterday and the chilly temps!
9 - new boots. Pretty comfy even with the heel! I am enjoying wearing a heel on days when I'm not hauling boxes (we are still moving into our new space and I'm responsible for a couple of the spaces) or running up and down the stairs at work. Heels were always my thing pre-kids and it's nice to have a reason to wear them again (even if I have to be pickier about comfort levels. These are Naturalizer which do a good job with comfy).
10 - today's outfit - navy stripes
12 - this was a hauling boxes day - professional-ish but comfy

Feedback welcome - any winners or losers? I am personally feeling the longer lines, but that could be the fall season vibe right now ...

I love every one of these! That first sweater is really nice and I like the new pants too. Also the blue stripe sweater with blue pants. And the flared jeans are great. All fantastic!

So sleek and polished. You look fab in all! I love the collared sweater in 1. I hope your strategic shrinking works! Gorgeous floral top with the white pants in 2. SOO pretty. Even the box moving day look is terrific. All, sooo good and hurray for the comfy stylish booties!

Gosh I love them all too! You look so 'profesh' in all of them. If I am pushed to choose a favourite. I am going with #8 as I love the raw hems and the shape of those booties. I love the colour of the knit in #5, looks like the perfect taupe on my screen. #10 is also standing out, I LOVE navy striped knits.

Very nice, every one. Are those the Deesha? I just ordered and returned the Deesha, but now you have me rethinking that. Maybe I just got the wrong color, I got the cafe suede. They WERE comfy, but after wearing them around the house, I dunno, I just may be done with any heel altogether, notwithstanding how chic they are are, and how much they amp my style. I need a pointy toe with a block heel, but have not managed to find that quite yet. Glad they work for you!

Andi, yes the Deesha booties. Honestly, I would have ideally preferred a block heel too, but I wasn't finding what I wanted at the right price point, so I decided to make a mindful compromise (in the past I would have stayed stuck and ended up with no boots!). But, if you have a more flexible budget, I saw lovely block heel chocolate booties at Poppy Barley, if that's a brand you like! Too pricey for what I wanted but gorgeous.

Angie, thank you! I do enjoy high contast and like it even more when it's a notch down from true black and white, such as with the offwhites in these outfits. Just a touch softer. Looking for another pair of jeans in a different wash to the indigo, with a small boot or flare leg, as I'm liking the polish of that cut.

What a great collection of outfits!

#1 - I have a fondness for collared sweaters, this reminds me to wear my white collared sweater from NAS with similar style to this one, as soon as my weather allows it. The fit here looks fine to me.

#3 - A lovely high contrast look. I'm a big fan of trousers for dress up occasions (because I'm just not a big dress gal). Cute clutch too!

#4 - The length of these new pants is perfect with those shoes. The semi tuck to see the belt is a nice touch too.

#5 - The combination of burgundy and off white is lovely together!

#7 - This outfit would also look lovely with that leopard scarf in the next outfit.

#8 - How fun you were able to sport some leopard in honor of the blog post. I always enjoy getting inspiration from blog posts.

#9 - Lovely new boots!

#10 - I always appreciate an outfit with stripes. Stripes (and plaid) are my favorite two prints.

#12 - A tunic length and slim/straight let trousers is a lovely combination on you.

Your black and cream outfit is stunning on you - you wear high contrast so well - I love black and off white so much as a combo.

And yes I don't think my hauling boxes looks make it to YLF because they are much more YDLF (you don't look fab) in my oldest jeans, running shoes and dirty hoodie...
