Here is a late spring outfit from me, featuring my new pearl pieces that I received as an early Mother's Day present from my DH and DS. The pearl necklace and bracelet are new - baroque pearls and gold-plated copper. I already owned the studs. I think I have an irregularly shaped baroque pair of pearl studs somewhere that might suit this set better, I'll have to look for them.

A few weeks ago we had a conversation about third pieces in the summer, and I mentioned that they are practically impossible for me in the summer. I realized that one tactic that I unconsciously deploy is using a matching belt and shoes. They look more polished together and evoke a sense of that elusive third piece, in my mind. Here you can see this strategy in action.

The tote bag is handmade and gifted to me by one of my cousins.
