Inspired by Rabbit, I wanted to give my lace up Frye boots a little love before I am limited to rugged ranch wear for the next few weeks. Not a terribly creative effort, I'm afraid -- skinny jeans and the new cricket sweater and a black BR button-up shirt underneath. This shirt is a little short for an intentional shirttail showing from beneath the sweater, but my white shirts are the same length so they look a little off unless I just tuck them. My chambray shirt didn't look bad, but I just felt like keeping it low contrast and sleek with the tall boots, so I stuck with the black shirt.

I changed out the shiny gold buttons on this coat for these patterned silver ones, which play better with my silver hardware and jewelry.

Threw on a cashmere scarf I got for $9 at Marshall's last year, and then realized my old funky forest green and turquoise gloves go perfectly with this. I've had them for a decade or more, and they're a little big on me, but I like them anyway.

Feedback welcome!
