The temperatures have dipped from 30C/86F+ to 30C as the high, so I am wearing jeans most days. I am not sure about the lengths of any of these. JFE is generally fine with me. Up to a point. That point mostly depends on my mood.
#1 I like the idea of this outfit but I am not sure my short self can manage with both not tucking and a huge cuff. These are old J Crew vintage style jeans and they are obviously very long on me. Should I have them hemmed and, if so, to the new long or the old long or some other long length?
#2 These are a very old pair of bootlegs with a mid-rise that I found when I started looking for flares. They seem too long, but are they worth hemming? Should I look for higher waisted flares?
#3/4 In my most daring experiment, I actually tried tucking this thrifted Equipment top into my wide leg jeans. Silk does allow for some sloppy tucking, which I like, but I am wondering if this tuck, which is really around my high hip, is doing me any favors. I switched from the snakeskin vintage loafers to the pointed shoes, because I had reached my JFE limits. Wondering if I should hack these too.
All styling, hemming or other comments and suggestions welcome!
