I've been sporting lots of ivory lately. I find swapping white for ivory makes my outfits feel more like fall.

Wow, Lisa, do you ever rock ivory! For some reason, I'm really drawn to what may be the simplest outfit, 8-9. That pullover looks so chic and cozy, I like how the tan sneakers ground the look, and the proportions are just fab, with the straight jeans.

Lovely outfits, Lisa! I particularly like 3, 6, 10 and 12. Your butterfly necklace is so pretty! I can see that working with lots of outfits and many casual as well as dressy occasions. Yes, ivory can be great for fall, less stark than white and plays with fall colours nicely.

Angie - *happily collects killer rating* There's something about ivory that's just gives a soft and elegant vibe to outfits. It's such a pretty color to wear.

The Vince polo was a recent addition. I'd been eying it all season. I didn't need a short sleeve sweater, but when it FINALLY went on sale, I couldn't resist. Vince makes such nice sweaters, especially one's with an open weave. It's really a lovely piece. I'm planning to try it sometime with a darker bottom, such as my navy wide leg linen JCrew pants.

ChristelJ - The lantern sleeve Rails hoodie is a great piece for our warm fall. I was delighted how well it paired with the grey jeans.

Cream for fall, white for summer. What an interesting concept! I think you have something there. All of these are very wearable and lovely, particularly the rust combo. But what I really like is sometimes you have a color, a cut, a piece that feels very "right now," but you integrate it well with what you have. Here, that would be the open-knit white hoodie. What a look!

I checked to see if I could still nab those Ecco sandals in ivory (I had been debating) but rats, they are gone. I suspect they will reappear next summer on the website, though -- as i have seen this happen. On the Canadian site, the toffee ones and a snakeskin pattern remain for sale but the ivory ones are not and I'm betting they took away the lighter coloured stuff because winter is coming....

Carol - When I started swapping white for ivory it felt like a lightbulb moment for easily transitioning my wardrobe from summer to fall. Especially with my summer items such as shorts, pairing say navy shorts with ivory instead of white really changes up the vibe.

Suz - The Vince polo was something I stalked all season. I was delighted when it went on sale they still had my size in stock. Bummer about the ivory Eccos. I've had success sometimes with finding shoes on Ebay, not sure if that would work for you? I just received a pair of grey boatshoes, new in the box for DH, that I'm stashing away for his Christmas gift from Ebay.
