WIW - it's easy being green

Quick WIW on my way to run some errands ... I am feeling the cool greens for fall so I chanced this green long cardi from Canadian retailer RW&Co and am pleased so far ... Hoping this ideal fall layering weather lasts a while! What colour are you loving for yourself this fall! Happy Friday!

Green is my color for 2020. I love that cool green on you, TG. So pretty with your hair and skin tone. TBH, fall is when I have the most fun with color. Gold, olive, aubergine, copper, ecru, caramel and burnt orange make my heart sing. BTW, today is Happy Thursday although Happy Friday can't come soon enough for me!

I have been trying to add the right turquoise to my wardrobe for YEARS. (Not teal - but a yellow-y turquoise) Finally, it's available in the right pieces. Milking it. These items are new and the same colour! LOVE, and match the new guitar strap.

You look fabulous in this colour, and I hope there is more of it in your future and in forum outfit of the day posts. I think it is particularly good on cool toned brunettes, but complimentary to other colourings as well.

I’m into lilac/pale lavender ATM, but it is a hard colour to source and my compliment - though growing, is modest.

This color is so pretty with your eyes. I noticed that Eileen Fisher has a new fall shade of green called “ deep forest” that is a deep teal. I usually think of forest green as a warm color as compared to Hunter green, but not this one. Those who like Hunter Green will like this color. It would be fab with black or navy.

TG, that color looks amazing with your skin, hair and eyes! I appreciate the simple style of the cardigan....no collar, no lapels, nice textured knit....it has enough interest without overwhelming, is streamlined and lovely.

I love oceanic blues and greens, and piney greens for fall, like your cardigan only maybe a slight bit lighter. I also love the color Angie chose. I have lots of knits in this tone but am hunting for some select, sustainable, woven items. I have been mixing a slightly lighter cooler ocean tone with olive or mahogany brown. Reddish browns or maybe pinkish browns and dark chocolate brown are the tones I seem to be craving in a neutral. It feels fresh, earthy, and coordinates well with the rest of my wardrobe. I have a lot of ink/navy right now, and I like combining the browns and blues as well.
