Between a sick child and a snow day, I didn't have to "dress" as much as I was expecting to this week. I managed to use Ingunn's criteria for 3 out of 4 days. But not in the order she proposed... that doesn't always work with life.
1. Borrow from the men. Did this by wearing my oxfords and a button up shirt. I think the leather sleeves kinda ruined the menswear effect... but I wanted to wear this cardigan. What a rebel huh.
2. Not from the challenge. Now, I wasn't really feeling this one, and I don't know why. Can you help? The black shirt is one of my favs, and a total workhorse. The pants are comfortable. The jacket also comfortable - it's a knit, so easy to move in. And I love these boots. But together... I think it looks fine, just didn't feel that great. Anyway, any thoughts on this most welcome.
3. Transform a dress into a skirt. Ended up BR head to toe (sweater, dress and scarf), quite by accident, which I thought was funny. Esp when I went into BR to do a return! I felt so comfortable and "me" in this, I think it's what made me question outfit #2.
4. Unstuffy turtleneck. Saved this for Friday because it's more casual... and we have casual Friday's at work. Braced myself for frozen soggy hems a la Angies recent post, but it was cold enough that that wasn't an issue.
So, thoughts and suggestions on anything is welcome!
Thanks Ingunn, for putting this together. Some of the ideas were not ones I could do, but it was great having a suite of criteria to inspire a few of my daily outfits. I wore things in different ways, and gave some near orphans some love.
