During Sukkot (week long holiday) we have a lot of company come eat with us in our back yard sukkah (hut). I had a bit of fun playing with proportions and my Zara pointy blue shoes.
#1 and #2 for the first dinner. Each of my DDs took a picture of me and the other DD - sorry for the blur! Wearing old DVF dress (second hand) and new Zara pointy blue shoes picked up in the summer at the end of season sale at the Soho Zara. Blue shoes were a hit and I was told I looked very retro.
#3 Going to the other extreme, I kept the shoes and wore long (too long) Maya Negri (Israeli designer, thrifted) culottes, with light blue H&M button down and same shoes. Should I have semi-tucked, the top, shortened the culottes, scrapped the whole thing? - let me know what you think.
#4 Playing with Angie's ankle length/ankle strap formula and influenced by all the pink, black and white in the summer shows. Sarah Braun top (Israeli designer, thrifted), linen harem pants (also Israeli, also second hand), Tibi ankle strap shoes (Buffalo Exchange near Penn Station). Again long top over short pants on short me might not be the way to go. Your thoughts?
#5 Our sukkah.
