Thanks April! That makes sense. I do think that I'm going to shop a lot more next year too, because by then I'll hopefully have a real job with more money to spend. And I will need to do some serious shopping to add more work appropriate clothes, shoes and so on to my casual student wardrobe. But I'm looking forward to it. Right now I don't really have to dress for anything, so no one cares how I look or if I wear the same clothes again and again. So the travel capsule has priority.
Thanks Sisi! I think so too, if the shoes fit right. Keeping my fingers crossed... And I hope you find what you're looking for!
Thanks Style Fan! Good for you to do an audit, my wardrobe additions have been rather random recently. I should also make a list next year, once I've moved and have the time to shop for new things.
Thanks Tanya! Yes, I do want to keep the money together too. Everything I spend now is money I could use for more fun things on my trip. And I'm happy enough with my cold weather wardrobe, so I don't really need new things. And I'm trying to spend as little as possible for the items I need for the trip.
Thanks Lady! I know very well how it goes when your whole wardrobe seems to need a refresh. But yes, I would try to slow down a bit if your body is changing. There's nothing worse than a lot of fab new things you can't even wear much before they don't fit anymore. Right now I'm a bit frustrated because my weight is up again by about 4kg which means that some newer items in my already rather small wardrobe don't fit right or are slightly uncomfortable. I want to fit into my hiking pants again for the trip in February, no idea if I will be able to pull it off...
Thanks Kelly! I guess I could have worn boots too, but I figured that I'll have a lot of time to wear them in the coming months so I'm sticking with the oxfords and sneakers as long as possible.
