Well, my blogger copycat plan got set aside for today. I will do the copycat outfit next week, but today's last-minute plans called for flat comfy shoes, since I found out at the last minute I'd be taking photos of some city promotion and arts folks and a clock restorer in the clock tower where my studio is. This requires some climbing around but also jeopardized my white shirt! I think I managed to escape grease-free -- the clock room is way cool (kind of steampunk with lots of gears and of course the giant clock faces), but it's a mess. I also needed to wear something worthy of hosting some creatives (graphic designers, etc.) at my studio and going out for sushi with them tonight. Casual but not too casual.

I've been itching to wear my blue cobalt leather moto, and I decided to just go for broke with the blue. Bird scarf, check. Blue oxfords, check. Even a blue ring. Jeans are very dark wash. I wanted to wear the light silk white top because my studio's heat is working a bit overtime these days as we sort out the cranky old steam heat in this building. My metallic clutch is getting a workout this week.

I remember when I posted these oxfords for a yay/nay, someone (Una?) expressed reservations that they weren't a vibrant blue. I actually like that they're not really bright, but the soles are! I'd feel TOO matchy-garanimals if the shoes matched this jacket too closely, but I love that just that little slice of sole picks up the exact vibrant color of the jacket.

Suggestions and opinions welcome!
