These are the only two photos I took of my outfits this month. #1 is what I wore most of the month because of my foot injury. #2 is what I wore today to see the surgeon. Luckily no surgery yet. I an to stay completely off the foot for two months. I need to get a nerve conductivity test and I start physical therapy. the doc wanted to order a scooter but I refused so I came home and practice with crutches. Due to my previous hand injuries and my balance issues I did not do well with them so I just emailed the doc asking for a knee walker. If work does not allow me to work from home completely for the next two months I will need to take leave. Then if I need surgery I will have no leave left. I am so bummed!

On a brighter note, I got new specs yesterday. You see them in #2. They are the new Ray Ban Club masters in the bright silver aluminum.

Oh noes! I'm sorry to hear about your foot! What a bummer. I hope you can get sorted on the knee roller and that you can work out something with your employer. I feel your pain

So sorry about foot pain, wow I can relate. Go cautiously on the knee roller though...I have heard they aren't great for you. Replacing foot pain with knee pain wouldn't be fun.

My husband's best friend just had surgery on both feet after falling from a roof and litterally crushing most of the bones in both feet, There is 3 months off his feet , then maybe more surgery, could be 8 months before he can walk...no insurance and not able to work either...

Eee! You're new specs are Amazing! I think they'd elevate the proverbial sack, but those are great sweaters. Clean and simple is good.

So sorry to hear about your actual condition, but we hope for the bestm, and wish you quick healing, plus sending you lots of positive thoughts!

Deb, I am so sorry! I hope you will be able to escape the need for surgery and I hope you'll find ways to make the leave a time for recuperation as well as healing. Can you rest in your garden or will that drive you crazy (stuff you need to do but won't be able to do?)

New specs look super fun! Can we get a closer shot of your pretty face?

Sorry to hear about your foot, but you aren't looking any worse for the wear! Love those red trousers... While your foot is on the mend, you might want to look into a brand of shoe called FitFlops... I have heard people say they are amazing for after foot surgery...

Ah Deb sorry to read this about your feet. Be diligent about keeping off the feet and with the physio. Do you think acupuncture might also be helpful - I have a few friends with PF that said this helped when nothing else did.
