Thanks again to everyone who helped me decide what to wear to my husband's work christmas party! The post-party bowling idea was nixed, so I went with the pencil skirt and top. I added sheer hose with a chevron pattern, a crystal encrusted bangle, dangly earrings and a silver clutch.

After the party we ended up going out to the movies, so I changed the skirt, hose and heels for jeans and boots, and the clutch for my new teal hobo bag.

I like the subtle color blocking going on with the party attire, and the metallic clutch is fab! Perfect accessorising I think.

The after party looks appropriate too!
