WIW - Homage to Angie - white jeans in Winter

I had a few options and played a little, but in the end I came up with this outift inspired by (but not close to) Angie's blog post yesterday.http://youlookfab.com/2013/02/.....in-winter/
1-2 White jeans (J Crew matchsticks - not sized up oof I forget what these feel like but they will remind me to not eat so much today), Navy cashmere (Uniqlo), White turtleneck (LE Canvas) - sorry I know it's the dreaded white onesie, http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....his-outfit
but it's cold out and all the other shirts I tried weren't as comfy cozy. Gold DKNY watch, SE Petty booties. Added Jessica Simpson Pea Coat and B. Makosky cross body.
I am itching to put on black boots, but haven't had a chance to wear the Petty's since I had the right one stretched so here they are.

3 was one of my first attempts to be more literal to Angie's outfit except I have gold oxfords (Bass Ely-3) which were too high contrast (and a little C3PO) for this. Black and white polkadot blouse (Foxcroft), Uniqlo sweater, Willow & Clay jacket. I think for spring I'll be able to work in the gold oxfords with a little skin showing.

SO fab on you Jeanne! I love both outfits. I do not mind the white turtleneck at all and think it works beautifully to bookend the shoes and jeans. And #3 is so much fun. Love how the shoes play with the buttons and your hair.

Perfection!!!!! I love the oxfords, they definitely need to come out when it gets warmer.

I want to try this too, but wonder if you can pull it off when there's actually a lot of snow on the ground? All the pinterest pics of white jeans in winter are where there's no snow.

#3 blew me away!

You've all sufficiently boosted me to sport my C3POs about town. Maybe for Oscar night? I promise I will take these seriously (but still have fun with them)
MNsara we did get a little snow yesterday, I was wearing the petty's (which are not quite snow boots and a bit cold soled). It was very little snow so not a big deal, but I think I caught a few looks from folks due to the white jeans. Pooh on them - they'll all be wearing them soon.

Una - you and Shannon picked up the Maritime vibe. One of the other shirts was a Breton stripe and probably how I'll wear this combo when it's a bit warmer out. My grandfather was in the Navy so I like to think he'd be proud.
