WIW - Green (work outfits) - YouLookFab Forum

Going through my outfit photos, I realized the color I've worn the most recently is green. The calico cat is my parent's cat that we are cat-sitting while they are traveling in Columbia for the next month. Domino and her don't really get along (she is very old and Domino is young) and she has taken over the pantry/laundry room.

#1 - Black dress and green cardigan. I got this idea from someone on the forum, but I apologize that I don't remember who now. The cardigan was longer than I remembered and I fiddled with it buttoned/unbuttoned until I finally ran out of time and had to leave. Also, the dress is too short again because I forgot to air dry it.

#2 - I wore this olive dress to Lawson's baptism and also to work. It never photographs that well but I really like the dress.

#3 - Teal top and black tweedy looking pants. The texture on the pants doesn't come through in the photo, unfortunately.

#4 - Teal button down and houndstooth pattern skirt. Imagine the skirt pulled down. It's actually knee length but is discombobulated since I just got out of the car and wanted a fast picture before I got distracted with the kids.

You are so pretty, Sara. I like 1 and 3 the best. Somehow the shirt in 4 is too casual for the rest of the outfit. And Domino looks like she's about to jump on your back

#1, #, & #4 (green/teal) are your colors! You glow in them (and you look otherwise terrific).

Back to the laundry room :-)! I think you look fabulous in green. In #1 I love how the necklace frames the neckline perfectly and how you repeat the color in the sweater. I wonder what it would look like if you used a black and white sweater instead. I think the necklace would pop more.
I adore your necklace in #3 it's unfortunately buried under the cowl. #3 is a strong enough statement where it can stand on its own without a necklace.
#4 is cute, I have a bias in favor of tights with boots (so feel free to disregard) I thought it would echo the black and white print to add mid tone gray tights. If I had a graphic b/w printed skirt I would do the same -- I have been looking for the opportunity to apply the idea.

Day Vies - grey tights are a good idea with the black/white skirt. I have grey tights that I haven't worn much this winter. It was actually too warm that day for tights, but it was too cold in the morning for bare legs so I compromised with boots and no tights.
