The photo is grainy. It's the best I could do as our closet is being converted back into a closet (hooray) after living life for many years as a mechanical room. Unfortunately this means our bedroom is a mess and I didn't have much space or light.
I made this off the shoulder recycled cotton sweater in lavender melange and had this specific outfit in mind as one way to wear it. I ended up having unravel some of the top neckline rows to make it fit the way I wanted, so the neckline isn't perfect anymore. I may go back and add a small row there to make it look more finished. I also still have enough yard to add the sleeves I originally intended to add...but I think I'll wait till fall or next spring.
The culottes are Boden in ponte and are so comfy!
The white Birkenstocks are just my default house shoes at this point. I cannot go barefoot, as I have very pronated feet. I'm not sure what type of shoes I would have worn if I had actually left the house in this...what kind of shoes do you think would work (no heels, other than maybe a small heeled bootie or a flatform sandal)? I do have these Sorel sneakers in white...sad this lavender color is sold out already for NAS.
