I feel a bit like a sheep but I really wanted to participate in the layering and have a heck of a time layering knits over woven shirts. I bought a sleeveless vest (other WIW) and this gilet to try to work around the issue. This morning I saw Sveta's WIW and it inspired me to wear my new gilet (vest) out to a casual lunch with a friend. I went through a few versions of the outfit in my head but this is the first version I tried on.

Dolce Vita back zip boots (dug them out for first time today)

I just barely resisted my usual necklace. The boots and sweater may be a bit matchy matchy.
