Hehe. I'm a copycat. And I really hit up the teeny bopper stores.

#1. Natalie and Anna's H&M pants. I need the new iPhone, these pictures are so bad. The jacket is a forest green with black lapels from Forever 21.

#2. Also picked up a peplum top from H&M.

#3. Bonus pic of another outing in my native costume: Mini skirt over pants, a form of apron.

Yay Rachylou, high five floral pants triplet! I was wondering when those pants would make their debut on you! Love it with the jacket and white blouse, so chic. I'm not keen on the tights with the pants though--I'd love to see your ankles (the tights make it skew a bit too old IMO). Love the peplum top. You are so trendy with your floral pants and peplum top! Maybe you should wear them together! And what a cute miniskirt/apron. Do you have a teal top to pair it with? That would be a cool color combo! Fun looks, all three! (who says we can't raid the teenybopper stores once in a while?)

Nothing wrong with a trend fix for cheap!

1) I agree about the pants with no socks/tights. Maybe with ankle boots if your feet are cold.

2) I want that peplum top! No H&M near me...waaah!

3) I think I'm missing something...why is a top, apron, and jeans a "native costume?"

I hear y'all about the tights. The problem is, it is way too cold for me. It's not just feet. Even my knees are cold. I have being wearing thermals under everything and a parka on top of it, in the office (!!) this whole week.

re. native costume: LOL, AJ. I call it that because it's not a one-off. This is something my peeps wear daily, year in and year out. On the street. Which my b.f. from the Midwest goes buggy about. It's not fashion but a manner of dress, and kinda peasant-y.

How about combat boots or Docs with the pants? (consider the source of this suggestion and dismiss if necessary!) I too would like to see some ankle skin when it warms up. The peplum is fab on you! What's the neckline like?

Rachylou, I can't get passed the floral pants! They look fantastic and I love how you have styled them. I a little envious as I would live these but havemt seen anything similar here yet. How about wearing them with a ankle boot? can you remind me what the pants are please...maybe I need to do some online shopping
