I really did go to the nut store. And I really am going nuts .
I had a down day for various specific and general reasons, but decided to buy some nuts at the nut store (also sells spices and some other stuff, there is one on every block around here).
Anyhow, to cheer myself up I put together an outfit of old favorites that have come to the fore during my closet clean out. (I also wore a mask not pictured.)
But the main point is my hair. Do you see it? I think I am just going to grow out the short side (not that I have a choice at this point), and then, if and when I can go back to my stylist, get some layers in the long side and go for a layered bob. That way I will be all ready for the next pandemic.
Hair advice, nuts advice or any other comment welcome.

Well you are stunning in browns and blues and I think your hair looks way better than you think. I think the asymmetry is so cool looking and I love the waves. I know the grass is always greener but I would trade for some curls in a heart beat! You look amazing!!

ETA: Is this what you call a cool brown as opposed to warm. I love this chocolate color!

Your hair still looks beautiful, however, I appreciate that it may be taking time to get it looking this good. Bob hairstyles are the best for dealing with a lack of haircut but covid lockdown will not be forever. I love this outfit on you and as someone who likes eating nuts, having a local nut shop sounds awesome. I have a local cheese shop, that is my weakness.

Your hair looks good in the photo but I understand the frustration and urge to try something new. Why not. The colours here suit you really well.

Nuts advice - well I like most especially macadamias.....and cashews.....and walnuts......and hazelnuts......and almonds.....and pecans.......and pistachios. I am slightly less partial to peanuts and brazil nuts.

I think your hair still looks fabo. You could try some sort of ornate hair clip (pearls?) in the short side if you dislike the way it’s growing out. Your outfit is fab too. Stay strong!

I get going nuts after real nuts and more (...pandemia, too...) and the color scheme is also nutty-love it! And about hair??? No matter if it needs a cut or you're growing it out your hair is always fab, Shevia!

Kelly is definitely describe this as a cool brown ... Bitter chocolate as opposed to creamy. It's through to find but SO beautiful on cool toned skin when one does!

Well, you look great!

I am with you on probably letting my asymmetric cut even out a bit for the time being, while I ride out this time. I may snip away at my longer layers to help control any end damage. And it figures, last time I got my hair cut, we left the layers a little longer, so now they’re really long and I’m getting triangle head. Ugh.

Bijou - What it is really taking is a lot of product. The longer it gets the more product it needs not to look dried out. And the short side often looks like an earmuff!

Love this color combo on you and I personally think your hair is amazing. Curls can be a bit more forgiving when growing it out, but I can sympathize with the frustration!

You are SO lucky to have nuts (and spices) so close to home! I am a big fan of walnuts in pesto instead of pine nuts. So yummy!

Gorgeous Jaime! Love the brown pants on you = such a great fit. And as for the hair ? Yeah, you've got a lot of it, but it works - and I like Joy's idea of a headscarf. You'd really rock that look while waiting for a cut. I like the idea of a symmetrical cut for you too - think it will be a nice change. My hair is making me nuts too. I have no idea how to style it so I keep cutting it, which is not helping .

I LOVE your hair. It’s just gorgeous. You should do whatever you need to do, as long as you still have curls.

We don’t have nut stores here. When we visited Istanbul, we went to the Grand Bazaar and saw shops with beautiful spices, nuts, Turkish Delight, plus everything else.
