WIW - Full Disclosure - Yoga pants for JA

A week-end of RnR after a hectic week. The only reason I'm posting these is I made a pact with myself to post everything I wear - no matter what..

Sat 5 May - Took Mum on a whirlwind clothes shop for Mother's Day next week. Managed to get her a pair of trousers, skirt, 2 tops and a cool cardigan. Everything mixes and matches so she felt great.
1. WIW - Grey marle smock top (EDC), jeans, animal print flats, amber bead pendant, hoops & bangle.

Sun 6 May - morning walk & coffee with hubbie and then a quick trip to the shops in the afternoon.
2. this is for JennyAnne - me and my yoga pants
3. Black smock top with lace shoulder inserts and sleeve inserts, red leather bag, silver sandles, same jewellery as yesterday but swapped beads for heart pendant.
4 &5. We walked in Cornwall Park which is about a 5 minute walk from home and then on the way back stopped at our local cafe for a Coffee

Couple of questions are the smock tops too short and do the animal print shoes look like slippers?

Kiwichik sounds like Saturday was fun with your mum.

Your outfits look great, even your yoga pants! I think your smock tops look to me to be the perfect length. The proportions are really good and great balance to your outfits.

Beautiful park and now I feel like a coffee:).

Thanks Deborah. Sadly I am a total coffee addict not helped by the fact that the cafe in the picture is 2 mins wlk from my home. Hope you had a great week end. Your Ornella look was fab.

Forgot to say I like the animal print loafers! I struggle with the fact that they are kind of like slippers but really I think they are a pretty classic shoe. Where did you get yours? I'm looking for a pair too.

I'm such a cheap skate I didn't want to pay a lot for them and had been trying to find a pair of ballet flats. Rubi had the ballet flats but I have big feet so it's sometimes hard to find my size. After looking in I don't know how many Rubi stores for the ballet flat style I gave up & got these they only cost $13 so no great lose if they do look too much like slippers.

You are not a cheap skate, I would say you are discerning. I am a woman on a budget and I love Rubi Shoes! My booties that I have been wearing with everything lately are from Rubi $10.00!

Rubi seems to copy all the current styles at more affordable prices and while the quality varies, some of their shoes are pretty good. My sister who spends a bucket load on Oroton handbags, buys all here ballet flats at Rubi:).

I must have a look at their loafers. I checked out Target but theirs are seriously tacky looking.

I think yours look great!

You look so comfy and breezy --- I wish my R&R weekends looked a fraction as stylish, though! And you're exactly spot-on for signposting each of your style preferences --- bohemian, sporty, modern classic.

So lovely of you to take your mom capsule shopping! It's one of the nicer bits of role reversal that can happen as 'children' come to share grown-uphood with parents. Loved hearing about it.

First of all, I want to have a coffee at your local cafe... I wish I had a cafe in walking distance. The closest I have is a Starbucks a 5-mile bike ride away (but let's be honest - I've only ever driven).

ANYWAY, I think #1 and I3 are totally cute! You look comfy and relaxed, but the fun shoes and accessories still make you look polished and like you put in a little effort.

Love the yoga wear. I think I could spend as much on yoga clothes as I do on the rest of my closet... both a comment on how expensive they can be and how very comfy they are.

Beautiful outfits! I really like the animal print loafers and those metallic sandals are really lovely with the black skinny pants! We have a small coffee bar about 5 minutes walk from my townhouse and I love to treat myself on the weekends!
