WIW - for winter pudge.

My clothes are telling me I indulged a bit too much this winter. My recently acquired clothes are feeling a bit snug so I scampered to find something comfy to wear after purchasing a Fitbit. These stretchy bootcuts and loose but not traditionally flattering top seemed to work though a bit basic. I love my comfy clogs but I need some jazzier shoes that will still show under bootcuts.....suggestions?

I think a fair few of us are feeling a little like you at the moment, though to be honest I see no pudge problem. I think what's perhaps needed under bootcuts is a more refined toe shape, either almond or pointy. You are practicing good PPL though How about a semi-tuck?

I see no pudge:) I like this. It is simple but interesting with the sleeves on the top. I agree with Diane re shoes. I quite like a pointy toe under boot cuts as I the length of the point offsets the width of the bootcut. Does that make sense?

You look good to me, I like the shirt on you. For bootcuts, I think it's all about the toes, so interesting toe shapes (pointy as mentioned) or for very casual outfits interesting colors in casual fashion sneakers is what I gravitate toward. For myself personally I try to avoid round-toed ballet flats under boot cuts because it looks too rounded off to my eye. This doesn't bother me with closed shoes/boots though if the rest of the proportions work.

its been a long winter for all of us, and i think we are all itching to get outside and get moving again. that being said, not seeing any pudge. i agree with the suggestions above, a pointed toe would be great under the boot cuts. if you don't like pointed toes, what about a slimmer/less bulky shoe?

I don't see any pudge at all, but I completely know how you're feeling. Unfortunately.

I really like the sleeve shape on the top. And I agree with the suggestions for pointy-toed shoes. For something casual, I have a pair of cowboy boots I really like under jeans with wider hems.
