Usually, at this time of the year, DH and me go to our favourite restaurant to celebrate his birthday.
Now we're in lockdown, which did not prevent us from celebrating. I cooked one of his favourite meals, and the weather was fine enough to eat in the garden. As he enjoys nice clothes when they appear out of thin air but never look for them himself, I got him a nice zip-up knit jacket. We spent a lovely time.

I took this opportunity to wear a nicer outfit that the Level 4 WFH ones I live in lately, and experimented with a long kimono duster over a column of white. I added a tassel neckace, asymmetric green amber earrings and new sandals I still need to get used to.
I was not sure this silhouette would work on me, but I actually enjoyed it. It made me think of Aussie TV Series heroine Phryne Fisher - with less flamboyance.
