I'm not sure which I love more! Of course I love #1 as a classic "you" work outfit. And love the casual looks as well. But #2 seems really fun and fresh on you. The sweater is beautiful! Who'd have thought a cardi could add such a nice touch?

Every single one of these outfits works really well on you DC - you seem have your style perfectly sorted out.

There's something about outfit #2 and outfit #4 which are really calling to me - maybe they are a little different than what I've seen you in, I'm not sure. Adore the roll of your trousers in #4.

Another set of brilliant outfits! You have such a good eye for what suits your style to a Tee, and you wear your clothes with flair, love it!
I love that dark green colour on you in picture one, and boy do you rock an A-line skirt (outfit 2 is my favourite because of that:-)
Also: your hair is growing quickly, and the growing-out stage doesn't look awkward at all, lucky you;-)

Thank you everyone. I'm trying to get away from my retro look a bit and try something new. Most of clothes worn above are old items that I've had in my closet forever.

TransconaShannon: thanks. I know Angie wouldn't agree on the rolled trousers but it worked with this outfit.

Suz and Diana: I have a few printed cardis which I love so they come in handy with pencil skirts or if I'm not in the mood to wear a jacket.

Inge: thanks for the hair compliment. It is growing out and I did have a slight trim last month but nothing drastic. It's taking a lot to get used to while growing out and then I see a cute short haircut on someone and I want to go back. Hah! I'll hold strong for a while and see what happens.

CG: You're making the cardi and A-line skirt look so fresh in #2. Such a good example of how classic these items really are and how flattering and easy they can be!

Love the texture in your hair -- not an easy thing to achieve with dark tresses.

I am a huge fan of a jewel-toned velvet blazer and I absolutely adore #1. I love the pattern and shape of #2 so I love it too. I love the playful dots in #3 which are so nice with a classic silhouette like a boat neck with 3/4 sleeves. I also like the unexpected brown bootie as opposed to a flat. #4 is a really nice nod in the direction of equestrian. I love the warm colors and how you rolled up the hem on the (glen plaid?) trousers. It's a complete tie between 1 and 2 I would wear both and am currently racking my brain to see if I can replicate it with items in my closet Thanks for the post!
