MsMary - I can see you rocking a printed short. I hope you'll share some WIWs when your weather is warm enough to wear them.
JAileen - Going from shorts to snow showers, that's quite a big seasonal transition!
Aquamarine and Roberta - I find printed shorts are an excellent way to add visual interest to solid t-shirts without layering when it's hot outside. I hope you find a pair that work for you.
Sisi - I define a long summer as at least 4-5 months with temps usually around 90F+ daily. Our summer season typically starts in spring and lingers into fall.
slim cat - Indeed summer temperatures in the fall is my biggest challenge. I've slowly incorporated fall colored summer weight and style items (fall colored tee shirts, prints, and shorts) for the fall to feel more seasonal even though temperatures are still hot.
Janet - Thanks for the kind words. Finding shorts at the "right" length has been a challenge for me, often the inseams are too short or too long. It's a lot of work to fit shorts properly (and they are not my favorite item to shop for because of it).
Star (Lise) - I also enjoy the navy for a summer outfit, especially navy and it's NOT shorts, because that's how I most often wear navy in the summer. As a pair of shorts. This is something fun and different.
Sal - Thanks for the kind words and for looking!
Angie - *happily collects killer rating* I've found printed shorts are a great way to add visual interest to an outfit without layers and without sporting a graphic tee. A nice change of pace.
RobinF - Thanks for the kind words and for looking!
