I'm still very new here, and I'm in a transition (after losing 100+ pounds). I don't want to invest too much in clothing until I figure things out a bit more as far as style goes, so my wardrobe is a bit scattered and random right now. I'm enjoying the challenge of trying to put it together in a good way despite not having purchased most pieces with the deliberateness that I'm hoping to have in the future! I'm especially looking forward to feedback so that I can add the perfect wardrobe items over the next year or so!

The first is a knee-length silk skirt, brown turtleneck and scarf, and creamy cardigan with brown tights and boots. I felt comfortable in it and liked it, but I'm still getting used to scarves because I've never really worn them before.

The second is a favorite very flowy skirt and a sweater that I love because it's double-breasted and I like that detail. It's both black and brown which I thought would make it match pretty much everything, but that isn't quite true. I love both pieces, but I'm thinking the sweater would be better with something lighter to brighten it up. There just wasn't much contrast. So I added a silvery scarf which did brighten up the outfit but also covered up the double-breasted detail of the sweater and doesn't feel quite right.

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!
