WIW yesterday and today - finally, a teddy coat

Got colder here in the last couple of days, -5 (felt like -10C).

So, I wore my teddy coat, only the second outing for it. This is far from Angie’s stylish examples in her recent post. But I keep it real - this what I wore today for a walk with DH through downtown for some small errands.

As we were walking, I wondered where all teddy coats went this season? Last year I saw them on the streets but not now. Could it be that it is not cold enough for it? Or it’s already a fashion history? No matter to me, I got - I wear it.
Pile-lined sweatpants & crossbody bag - Uniqlo

sneakers - New Balance 530 (still can’t wear my winter boots)

Update: wore the coat again today. We went to a museum and for lunch out after. The temps are a bit milder today, only -2C and sunny, so wonderful to be out in the sun after weeks of gloomy weather. I can’t say I love either outfit, a bit disappointed with it. Something is off but not sure what. I snapped another picture before we left.

LJP, I like Sandro quality, this coat has a lovely lining.

Bijou, I do too in this picture I also wear a pantyhose, warm knee high socks, thin merino long sleeve t-shirt. Regretted not wearing a silk scarf under a turtleneck and tights instead of pantyhose. And maybe a thicker sweater.

You look elegant in your teddy coat. Keep warm. My heaviest sweaters are getting a workout this winter. Last winter was too warm and they never saw the daylight. April is the snowiest month usually, with some snow in May. I need an Easter coat and wool dress and spring boots. Probably for mothers' Day too.

Killer teddy coat and fab stylings, both!!! I complained about the same thing, seems my teddy didn't came out to wear this season as was too warm, above 0°C all the way,-but there is more place and time for freezing till Spring, we'll see...
