After trying on and subsequently moving the faux leather shorts into the donate bag, I remembered these faux leather cropped trousers. Oops, tickets still on . They were honestly too tight all winter, thus never worn and I never got around to returning them. Now - totally fine . Worn with the infamous BR merino sweater and a crazy faux fur vest. Both unworn yet bought in December . Yikes. I raved about these sweaters, when I bought them , yet still felt missy-ish and too plain in them. Also feel like they highlight my chest in an aging and unflattering way. Whatever. Faux fur vest bought in a fit of craziness at my pedicure salon. One of those things you try on , and everyone around oohs and aahs and makes you feel terrific. Works on me every time (insert eye roll emoji here) . I intended to wear it to job #2 all winter, but then had my knuckles rapped for taking too many liberties with the dress code, so , so much for that great idea (another eye roll ) . Super warm and sunny here today -thus perfect for a no-coat, in-car day of calling on stores. I could have tucked the sweater, but the pants are very high-waisted and tucking made my torso look too short. Also, I find leather pants with a set-in waistband and fly front create a poochy look in front, regardless of the state of one's lower abs . Another reason to leave the sweater untucked. Felt nicely dressed up and interesting looking today .
