I was inspired by a friend's Insta photo to pull together this outfit and I quite liked the shapes and colors together!

The taupe pants are home made. The blazer is Eileen Fisher from the Rack and this might be its first wearing even though I got it over summer. The red sweater and red slides are a couple years old.

I've been enjoying my Fall clothes SO much but trying not to overwhelm the forum with all my WIWs!

Eta, I've popped the other three recent outfits on there. The green corduroy jacket I have since acquired a matching pair of suede booties. The top under it is a matching shade of green (hard to see, bad Fall light!)

The taupe pants are home made., this is just kind of thrown in there like its no big deal…i am in awe and totally impressed with the fact that you made those pant! WOW, nicely done
All of these are great, and totally on my style wave length. In fact i think we are jacket twins, as the navy/white tweed in #4 looks just like one that i own.

These are amazing outfits! Pic #2 is my KILLER best. The red in soooo punchy, and a very necessary perk in Seattle (wettest day of the year yesterday - and hope you stayed dry). You wear red soooo well. Next I want to see it with pink

Thanks for the support, ladies! I really have been coming up with some great outfits and I have a few more up my sleeve (so to speak, haha).

I have started a sewing hobby. I already crochet, and I guess sewing became my next "thing". Here, I thought it would be knitting but the heart wants what the heart wants!

This taupe pair were my first try, and I did adjust the fit very slightly by scooping out the back crotch. I learned so much about fitting just doing this one project. The waist is a hot mess, but I'll know better for the next pair. I love that they have a BACK ZIP and deep pockets!

My next pair is going to be in green twill, a little more drapey, and I think I'm going to do a single deep pleat in the front; maybe sew it down a little? and a wider waistband. I've also been working on a sky blue woven workshirt, to which I added bust darts for my very large bust and took in the shoulder seam, because fitting in the hip AND bust AND shoulder at the same time seems like such a dream come true for me...

Congrats on picking up sewing as a new skill. Nice set of outfits, and I like the styling match-ups of bottoms and footwear. Gotta say the first outfit inspired by the ‘gram shot is so-so flattering!

These are all beautiful outfits. The colors in the first one are stunning but you do tonal and black and white equally well. No such thing as too many outfit pics!
