End of summer is sort of a joke, because the temperatures will remain high for another month or two. But I will inevitably start dressing more "Fall" as best as I can soon.

Anyway details and thoughts if you are interested:
#1 Here I am trying out the trends: pistachio and chain necklaces. I have had this pistachio (or mint or some other green flavor) 90s style bag for years, have even tried to sell it and then had it returned. Then just a week ago I found these matching shoes at the thrift store from some unknown brand. I added this chain necklace I thrifted years ago (Dirk Bikkembergs) but hardly ever wear because I haven't worn necklaces for years. Inspired by the trends - and Brooklyn even moreso - I am playing with adding more in lately.
#2/3 Bringing us to this outfit. I thrifted this Zara top and wore it with my old, trusty Balenciaga baggy shorts and then went all out with this long chain AND earrings (close-up shows better). A lot going on here with the print mix, but I liked it.
#4 In case anyone was wondering what happened to my oversized men's shorts . With thrifted Arche super comfortable sandals.
#5 All white shoes make me think Angie. I thrifted these COS shoes a few months ago.
#6 Waiting for DD outside the changing room in a store that is pretty much anathema to my way of shopping, but I try to teach my kids through example rather than force. Note the ironic to me mirror image slogan "Try Something New".
#7 Trying to pretend it was not 90F, the bag is old, old Celine. Another example of shopping my thrifted closet for the trends.

Apologies for the smudgy mirror selfies and various level of mess in the background. I realized this summer that I like myself in busier looks (making me think back to Kibbe, which is another story). Any comments, thoughts, suggestions, etc. are very appreciated!
