I posted last week about having the Tsubo Cusus that I have in red dyed brown. I took them to a shoe repair store and got them back on Thursday. The shoe has a layered effect and he had to lift each layer to dye it and treat it. I find they don't lay as flat as they did before. The color came out a deep caramel which isn't bad and I don't have.

I have been making an effort to change bags most days. By the end of the week, the dining room table looked a bit like a purse changing station.

#1 old not so skinny jeans with Jcrew linen top and the dyed tsubo booties. I wore this to go to Tony's place for Thanksgiving dinner. We are a very casual family and I knew the house would be warm after having the oven on all afternoon.

#2 Jones new york wideleg pants
Faux leather jacket
Black/brown bag
Green Earth booties

#3 Una plaid shirt (urban outfitters)
black ponte pants
Miz Mooz OTK boots.
I put on these boots and the SE knee high and preferred the knee high but wore these to help decide if I should keep or donate them. I am still on the fence but am leaning towards giving them up. I don't think they fit my style.

#4 Straight leg black pants,
Blue surplice sweater
new scarf (can't remember where it is from)
Red Liz Claiborne bag
Splendid red oxfords

I am loving these shoes and have worn them three times since i got them.

Oh wow, our shirt looks incredible on you! And 1 is so flattering. The second outfit looks so grown up sophisticated to me - way out of my league for sure.

Fabulous! The dyed shoes came out really well and the colour is great, to my eye. I'm loving all of these on you, but my favourite are the fitted, cropped jacket and longer plaid shirt; there's something about these two proportions that really appeal to my eye. The OTK boots look great on you.

Wait, shoe repair places can change the color of shoes or boots? I think you just changed my life, LOL!

I think these outfits are all great. I especially like #1 and #2. I really like the slouchy skinny jeans-- a slouchy look without having to cuff the jeans up high which is my least favorite part of my boyfriend jeans. Did you just get a bigger size for that look? Or was this pair just cut not as skinny?

Dianthus, I change bags daily also. Here's an idea for you if you don't do this already. Have you used an organizer insert? I use one. I pull it out of one bag and drop it into the next. It's fast and easy! I can quickly find everything inside my bag. My bags interior stays cleaner than it used to. My counters stay clear.

You can do an online search. They are worth the investment. They come in different sizes. (If you accumulate junk during the week, I can't help you there!)

Your booties look great. I saw your original post when you were considering the color change. You look great in everything you are wearing!

I also find changing bags a pain, even with a purse organiser. I guess, I'm a lazy, and always rushing person, 2 seconds it's still too much for a change:-). But I can recommend the chameleon purse organizers.

Dianthus, you are one of those women who looks just smashing in jeans and a white shirt! I'm so jealous. There's a freshness about you that looks really, really good in uber-casual clothes. That's not to say that your dressier looks aren't amazing as well! Your booties turned out great, and the color is in a good range for bookending, though it's not an exact match for your hair. Very nice.

The "new" cognac boots look great! I really like all of these outfits but have to give a special shout out to #3 - those OTK boots look amazing on you. You look so chic and leggy. Please please please keep them!

Wow - so great to see you in casual clothes ! I love the OTK boots with that shirt - what a stunning colour on you. I also love the casual sweater and jeans look in #1 - simple but nicely put together. You look really good with the half-tuck front.

I change bags often throughout the week too - and it means that I'm usually forgetting some key thing like kleenex, mints, a pen, etc and by week's end, every lipstick and gloss I own is all over the place . Never quite mastered the art of organization .

These are great. The plaid shirt is a terrific color on you, and the over the knee jeans are so current.

I've never tried a purse organizer but use a phone wallet and another little clutch that I transfer around inside other bags. And I have a large supply of gum and sunglasses.

These are all fantastic outfits! I have to say the tall boots and plaid shirt outfit took my breath away. Then I read that you are thinking of sending the tall boots away?! Well, they look ultra super great on you. But if they don't feel like your style, I guess I can understand that. I'm sure all of us have a lot of things we could wear but don't necessarily want to. Maybe you could hang on to them for this season and see if you wear them again? I saw so many of them in the store this season, I think they're very current.

Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments. I am still on the fence about the OTK boots but will hang onto them. I work in a tourist area and went to the market to pick up a snack the day I wore the boots. I walked past a woman who appeared to be in her late 50s and she gave me the most clear signal that she thought my boots were inappropriate. I got the head to toe and back look. It made me smile actually. Then I went to speak to a co-worker who is actually a very spiritual and conservative person and she said she loved the boots and even tried one on. It was really funny.

You look so great and pulled together very well in all of these. I am loving your hair cut lately. I am familiar with that once over up and down look. I think it happens when you push the conventional fashion boundaries. The OTK boots look great but if you don't love them then maybe you can find some that come just to the knee.

The caramel boots are a beautiful color on you. Great dye job! And outfit 1 is my absolute favorite!

Good question Denise. I don't think it is the boots but the style. I will work with it and see what I come up with. I do like the ones you posted and my other tall but not OTK tall black boots are more like this pair with a smoother leather and a more sleek style but a bit more heel.

I was going to say I am finished with the boots and shoes for this year but then remembered seeing a pair I was coveting this weekend...
